Yesterday Austin and I went to the Columbus Zoo. They still had all of the Halloween decorations up, but they were playing Christmas music throughout the entire zoo.

Then I was invited to a vegan dinner catered by my friend's aunt. It was the best vegan food I have ever eaten and probably the most food I've eaten in one sitting.

Cool can, bad flavor. It is sweetened with a combination of cane sugar and beet sugar, which sounds awesome but I think it tastes like diet soda (my arch nemesis).

Today I stayed at home and made a mix CD for the kids who live at the "House of Wax." I should have taken pictures of it because it was pretty crafty. After I dropped it off in their mailbox, I spent hours on end making this bag.

It's probably the best thing I've ever sewn on my own. All I wanted to do when I finished it was show it off to all of my friends, but they're all in Florida.

reason #192 for not going back to school:
15% tuition increase next year and intense budget cuts for the entire school. i have one class that i enjoy this semester and we can barely afford the materials to do basic sewing projects in the class. i don't know what's going to happen if they get even less money next semester.

this saturday (february 23rd) is the final show at 1617 story ave.

i am going to miss this so much.

i think i am going to try to use this to share crafts and projects that i'm working on/have done. i don't know how long it will last. hopefully until i learn how to make a website. this is what i did today:

the sweatshirt used to belong to my sister and the letters came from a sweatshirt that fit me when i was probably three years old.
